Placing an Order

All our arrangements are individually made to order using fresh flowers from Holland. Pictures are for illustration and there may be some variations in colour and flowers used due to seasonal changes. If you would like a particular flower please contact us before placing your order.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop online, and add any flowers or gifts that you wish to buy to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on the 'Checkout' button and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept any debit or credit card payment via PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account). 

You may also arrange to send and pay for flowers over the phone by calling us on 01245 264 566 (Mon-Sat 9am-5pm).

Canceled orders (whether placed online or over the phone) are subject to a cancellation fee. 

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when payment has been processed. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

All prices on this website are inclusive of 20% VAT.

Payment Security

Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) ensures an encrypted connection between your browser and our website.

Online payment is processed securely by PayPal and therefore Springfield Florist DO NOT hold any credit or debit card information.

When you have successfully placed an order you will receive a confirmation receipt from Springfield Florist as well as a confirmation email from PayPal confirming your payment. If you do not receive any such receipts, please contact us.

Here are some of the ways that PayPal keeps your information secure:

  • They use industry-leading encryption and fraud prevention tools.
  • They don't share your financial information with the merchant.
  • They send you a confirmation email when you make a payment.

Did you Know that You Do Not Need a PayPal Account to Pay with Paypal?

If you do not have a PayPal account and do not wish to sign up for one, it is still possible to pay via PayPal.

Once you are taken to PayPal's site to make payment, simply look for a section on the payment screen that reads "Don't have a PayPal account?". You should see a link titled "continue checkout" somewhere in this section. Select this link to open the credit card input screen and continue with your payment.

Delivery & Collections

Order by 1pm for same-day delivery or collection from our shop. Orders received after this time will be sent / available for collection the next business day. If you are looking for same-day delivery or collection after this time please call us on 01245 264 566 and we always try and accommodate where possible. (Please note that we are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays and therefore cannot deliver on these days, with the exception of Mother's Day).

You can choose between UK delivery (£8) and collection from our shop (free) when placing your order.  For both options, you must choose a delivery or collection date.

IMPORTANT: If ordering flowers for a hospital address, please contact the shop on 01245 264 566 BEFORE placing the order via our website

For orders outside the UK, please call 01245 264 566 for a delivery quote and to place your order.  International delivery will be arranged via the E-Florist System. Once they arrive in the destination country, these flowers will be shipped to a local florist who will hand-deliver the flowers to your recipient.

While we can deliver on your chosen Delivery Date, we cannot guarantee a time of day.

Please telephone if you have an emergency order.

If you require specific flowers please telephone at least 24 hours before delivery is required.

Orders are delivered ONCE. If the recipient is not home the flowers/gift are returned to the shop and a delivery note is left informing them that flowers/plant have tried to be delivered and that they must collect the order from the shop.

If a neighbour is home we will try and leave the flowers/gift with them providing they are willing to take responsibility for the delivery.

If the recipient is physically unable to collect their flowers/gift, a new delivery date will be arranged with the recipient at Springfield Florist's earliest convenience.

Springfield Florist are not responsible for theft or damage of flowers, plants or sundries if left.

We take care of our flowers and ensure freshness and quality at all times.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

Orders that are canceled (whether placed online or via the phone) are subject to a cancellation fee.

Refunds may occasionally be given at the discretion of the management. Because of the perishable nature of our products you are advised to make any complaint within 1 working day of the delivery of your flowers. We always endeavour to reach an agreement with the recipient for either for a replacement or a refund depending upon the nature of the complaint.
